Lufthansa will launch scheduled flights to Tbilisi from June 5, 2005

Lufthansa will offer three flights a week between Tbilisi and Munich operating the modern and comfortable Airbus A319 aircraft.
The flights will depart from Munich at 21:10 local time on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays with the arrival at Tbilisi at 02:55 local time on the following day.
The airline will operate flights from Tbilisi to Munich on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with departure at 03:55 local time and arrival at 06:00 local time.


President Bush to Travel to Latvia, the Netherlands, Russia, and Georgia

President Bush will travel to Latvia, the Netherlands, Russia, and Georgia from May 6-10 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II. His visit will honor the shared sacrifice of millions of Americans and Europeans to defeat tyranny, and mark the growth of democracy throughout the continent.


7th International Tourism Fair of The Silk Road Countries in Georgia - CTF 2005!

World Tourism Market 2004

In November 8-11 of the current year, travel company “Explore Georgia” took part in the World Tourism Market 2004(WTM). This event was held in the ExCel Exhibition Center. For details about tour products presented by Explore Georgia, see Tours & Services.


British Airways

All incoming and outgoing travel agencies in Georgia were very glad to hear that British Airways restarted its flights from/to London – Tbilisi.
Scheduled flights are twice a week.

Leopards returned to Georgia

There was found a leopard by Georgian zoologists with the help of a hidden camera on the territory of Vashlovan Preserve in the east of Georgia. As it supposed, the leopard wandered into the territory of Georgia from Northern Caucasus. Scientists believe that the leopard pictured by the camera and named Neo, is not the only one in the Vashlovan preserve but is accompanied by his pride congeners.


New way to get to Georgia

There was opened regular ferry transportation of passengers between Georgia and the Ukraine. provided by marine company "Ukrferry".
The route Ilichevsk - Poti is served by a comfortable international class 120-seat passenger ferry "Gracefald".
In future the ferry crossings will link the Georgian ports with ports of Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Russia and other destinations.
